The new year always feels like a fresh start—a time to set goals, make plans, and dream big. But for me, 2025 feels different. This year, I’m stepping into something I’ve worked toward for years: running my business full-time. After balancing my corporate career and growing business for so long, I’m finally all in. And let me tell you, it’s been both exciting and a little overwhelming.
The Reality of Free Time
When I sat down to plan my January calendar, I had this strange moment of panic. For the first time in my life, I had actual free time. No packed schedule of back-to-back corporate meetings, no late nights cramming in client projects after a full day at work—just open blocks of time.
At first, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I’ve always thrived on being busy, so the idea of slowing down and having space to think felt almost…wrong. But then, I realized this free time wasn’t something to fear—it was the reward for all the hard work I’ve put in. It was an opportunity to finally pour all my energy into my business and my vision.
Rewriting My Schedule
I took a deep breath and started filling in my calendar with intention. Instead of cramming in tasks to fill every minute, I focused on creating balance. I blocked out time for business strategy, client work, and—yes—time for myself.
One of the biggest shifts has been dedicating space to work on my business, not just in it. I’ve started mapping out long-term plans, brainstorming new services, and thinking about how I can better support my clients. And you know what? It’s been transformative. With this new clarity and focus, I feel more aligned with my goals than ever before.
The Freak-Out Moment
Of course, stepping into full-time entrepreneurship hasn’t been all smooth sailing. There was a moment when I looked at my calendar and thought, “What if I’m not doing enough?” That lingering fear of not being productive enough or not having a packed schedule creeped in. But I reminded myself: this is exactly what I’ve been working toward—a life with freedom, flexibility, and the chance to build something meaningful on my terms.
Opening the Door to New Opportunities
This year, I’m taking everything I’ve learned and using it to serve more clients and expand my offerings. With this extra time and focus, I’m officially opening up my services to new clients and taking on fresh projects. My services include:
