The Week in Business
This week was busy with onboarding two new clients. We’ve already hit our 2026 goals and it’s only halfway through the year.
My immediate thought: do we try to hit our 2027 goal?
Can we do it? Who knows. It doesn’t hurt to try.
The growth is exciting and a little overwhelming, but it reminds me that showing up consistently, trusting my team, and staying focused on the systems we’ve built makes big goals achievable.
Travel on the Horizon
We are gearing up to head out of the country for a wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I can’t wait to share pictures.
There is so much packing to do, but I’m excited for another break.
After this trip, we have a river trip planned and then no travel until 2027.
I’m already dreaming about fall trips, so if you have ideas, send them my way.
House Updates
At home, we are game planning the next steps.
Packing boxes, gearing up to install the final big things like cabinets, countertops, and floors. It’s getting exciting to see everything come together.
Watching the house progress is such a mix of anticipation and satisfaction.
It reminds me to celebrate milestones, even the small ones.
Pouring Into Your Cup
This week, burnout started to creep in.
I could feel it coming and immediately took action.
I left home with Jett and went to the in-laws for the weekend. They spoiled me, fed me, and helped with Jett.
It’s a simple but powerful reminder: take care of yourself.
Pour into your cup first so you can show up fully at work, at home, and in life. Burnout is easier to avoid than recover from, so make rest a priority.
Looking Ahead
Next week, I am heading into business and life feeling recharged and focused. We’ll continue onboarding clients, progress on the house, and make plans for travel.
Growth and life will always push us in multiple directions.
The key is balancing action with rest, celebrating wins, and trusting the process along the way.
