Organized Chaos and Growth

This week was chaotic in the best way possible. Between client meetings, new consults, and projects ramping up, I was working more than ever. Most days were over 8 hours, with 10 hours on Thursday and 11.5 on Saturday. It’s a lot, but it’s a good problem to have.

Having my mom in College Station this week made all the difference. I could focus on client work, delegate more effectively, and get ahead on projects. Next week, we’ll be in Galveston, and she’ll be helping again, so I’m hoping to keep the same rhythm. My team has really stepped up too, taking on more ownership, and even my husband has been helping lighten the load. It’s one of those moments where you realize that the systems you’ve built, both in business and in life, are actually working.

Coached by Jade is going through a complete refresh. One that better reflects how I’ve been serving my clients this past year. The 90-day program has been great and it’ll still be available, but my focus is shifting to long-term, ongoing coaching.

Life, House Projects, and a Little Sanity

Outside of business, I get to spend more time working on the house this upcoming weekend. Floating, taping, and installing lights as usual. We’re finally seeing spaces come together. It’s slow progress, but it’s progress. My dad and husband have been working hard on the last two rooms, and I’m excited to get back out there next weekend.

Lately, I’ve been rewatching tutorials on how to tape and float more efficiently because I realized I’ve been too detailed in one spot at a time. It’s funny how perfectionism follows you from business to drywall.

And to my fellow mompreneurs, I’ll be honest... I’m struggling to find true “us” time with my husband. Between running businesses and caring for Jett, personal time feels like a luxury we haven’t quite figured out yet. We’re not stressed about it, but if you’ve cracked the code on how to make time for date nights, send tips my way.

Holiday Boundaries and Intentional Rest

The holiday season is creeping up fast, and I’ve already decided to take four days off during Thanksgiving weekend. Those days are sacred. No work, no email, no notifications.

If you run a business, do yourself a favor and plan your downtime now.

• Block your calendar early.

• Communicate those dates to clients.

• Use that time to rest and reset before the final stretch of the year.

You’ll thank yourself later. I plan to come back from Thanksgiving recharged and ready for a strong December, which is full of projects, content, and final-quarter goals.

Looking Ahead

The next few weeks will be packed with client work, hiring interviews, and wrapping up big projects before the holidays. My goal is to hire by December 31st, and I’m confident we’ll accomplish that once I find a time to sit down and schedule the interviews.
