Finding Light in the Middle of Chaos

The Week Started Heavy
This past week was absolutely insane. I started Monday feeling completely overwhelmed, thinking, “Dang, business is busy. It’s hard.”
By the end of the week, though, I felt light again. I didn’t get everything done I wanted, but I still felt capable, confident, and ready to keep going. Momentum isn’t about finishing everything. It’s about showing up and trusting you can handle what’s next.
Life at Home is Coming Together
At home, things are moving fast. Almost all the ceiling fixtures are installed, the walls are almost painted, and the house is starting to feel real.
We’ve ordered almost everything else besides the flooring and countertops, which will likely be our last big expenses. It is exciting and terrifying all at once to see the vision we’ve built start to come to life. Some days, it feels like it is all too much. Other days, I pause and remind myself that some things are out of my control and that is okay.
The Internet Went Out and I Needed It
Thursday was a real test. The Internet went out, and my personal hotspot didn’t work. I couldn’t send pictures, FaceTime, or do client work the way I planned.
At first, it felt like the day was ruined. I was frustrated and annoyed. But 24 hours later, I realized it was exactly what I needed, a forced break.
On Friday, I caught up while picking up and dropping off our tub, so the interruption ended up being a reset. The lesson is to not let things ruin your day. Pause, breathe, and ask yourself if your frustration is really worth it in the long run.
Watching Jett Grow
Jett is keeping life lively. He is crawling everywhere now, full speed from one side of the room to the other. It is thrilling and scary all at once.
He is also obsessed with reading. He carefully turns the pages of Pout Pout Fish, smacks them with excitement, and watches the story unfold. Seeing him learn and grow so quickly is both humbling and inspiring. It is a reminder to celebrate the small wins, even in the middle of chaos.
Business is Moving Fast
Work is moving quickly too. My team continues to step up in incredible ways, and the business is growing faster than I could have imagined.
Scaling, delegating, and trusting my team is allowing us to handle more than I thought possible. If you have been hesitant about taking the next step or booking a consult for your business, we have multiple plans designed to fit your needs. Do not wait. Now is the time to move forward confidently.
Looking Ahead
Next week, I am heading into work and home life feeling grounded and energized. The house will continue to come together, the team will keep growing, and the business will keep moving forward.
This week reminded me that light and confidence can exist even in chaos. Life will always throw curveballs, but how we respond determines the progress we make.
