Catching Up, Growing, and Navigating New Realities

Back from the Dominican Republic
It’s hard to believe it’s already been two weeks since we skipped a blog post while in the Dominican Republic for a wedding. That trip was such a beautiful reset. Sun, ocean, and the joy of celebrating love but coming back, reality hit fast. The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of catching up on work, recovering from getting a little sick, and reorganizing the business for the next month.
It’s one of those times where you feel stretched in every direction, but also reminded how much growth comes from showing up consistently. Even when life feels messy, momentum is built in small steps and steady effort.
House Progress and Bringing in Extra Hands
This week is another big house week. The excitement is building because we’re getting help from some current and past athletes. Having extra hands and energy around will hopefully move things along a little faster, and it’s such a relief to not do it all alone.
Watching people step in to help is such a reminder of the power of delegation. In both business and life, you can only scale when you trust others to contribute, share the load, and keep moving toward the bigger picture. The house is coming together slowly but surely, and every small milestone feels like a win.
New Clients, New Energy
We also have new clients starting this week, which is always energizing. Onboarding is one of my favorite parts of the business because it’s the moment where systems and preparation really pay off.
Even when things feel overwhelming, seeing the process in action reminds me that structure, clear communication, and trust in your team make growth manageable. Every client adds to the story of the business, and it’s exciting to watch the journey unfold.
Business Lesson: Overwhelm is Temporary
Here’s a key takeaway from this week: whenever you feel overwhelmed, especially when you’re catching up on backlogs or new systems, remind yourself it will take time to get everything done. You don’t have to rush.
For me, catching up took from Wednesday to Saturday, and I’m still smoothing things out on Sunday. That’s okay. Progress matters more than perfection, and patience is a tool just as important as any business strategy. Overwhelm is temporary when you have a plan and a mindset to tackle one step at a time.
Life Updates and Reflection
Life is feeling a little different lately, and I ask for prayers as we navigate this new reality. There are changes that I hope are temporary, but even in uncertainty, I’m learning to lean on faith, family, and trusted support.
It’s moments like these that remind me to slow down, breathe, and acknowledge the wins, both big and small. Even when life feels chaotic, taking time to reflect helps me stay grounded and focused.
Looking Ahead
Next week, we will continue progressing on the house, onboarding clients, and making adjustments to keep everything moving smoothly. The goal is to stay intentional about our energy, celebrate small wins, and continue growing without burning out.
Chaos will always be part of the process, but confidence, patience, and clear priorities make it navigable. Growth is messy, exciting, and sometimes uncomfortable, but it’s always worth it.
